Check the comp.sys.apple2 FAQ for the definitive answer, but basically,
the //c+ had a 3.5" internal drive where the //c had a 5.25" internal
drive.  The //c+ also ran at 4(?) MHz (with a switch to bring it down to
~1 MHz--the original speed of Apple // computers) while the //c only ran
at 1 Mhz.
