Sending files over a modem...
Hi folks,
I'm having a little difficulty sending files across a modem from my GS to
my Unix account. I'm currently using TelCom GS, and have had no problems
receiving files using the Ymodem protocol and 'sb' on Unix. But I haven't
had any luck using the Xmodem send from TelCom using 'rx' on Unix.
I also tried using 'rz' on Unix, quitting from TelCom, then running 'sz'
from GNO, redirecting input and output to .ttya. It seemed to work up to
the point of negotiating the file name and sending about 876 bytes, but then
it just hung up. I logged in at a speed of 19200 baud; is this too fast for
GNO?
Does anyone have any tips on how to successfully transfer files using
Telcom (and GNO) to Unix via a modem?
