Sorry, but I'm not familiar with a program named Hyper CAD for the IIGS.
(That said, I do seem to remember seeing some sort of freeware GS CAD
program, but it didn't impress me in the least. It was so unimpressive, I
don't even remember the name.)
What I am familiar with is Abracadabra's "Design Your Own Home" series of
programs for the Apple IIGS, and with AccuDraw for the IIe/IIc/IIGS.
It's been a very long time since I last looked at DYOH. I seem
to remember giving it a very good review in the Apple IIGS Buyer's Guide
(does anyone even remember that defunct magazine?). In all honesty, I
haven't even looked at the program since then.
OTOH, I was quite impressed recently when I did spend some time with
Kitchen Sink's AccuDraw. And, considering that incredible pricing that is
available to Shareware Solutions II subscribers on that program, it's
certainly worth taking a look at.
Information on how to save $100 on the cost of AccuDraw is offered in the
latest issue of Shareware Solutions II, as is information on how to get a
demo of the AccuDraw program.
With the AccuDraw demo, you (or your friend) can evaluate AccuDraw for
yourself, and determine if the program will meet your needs.
