I don't know of any GS utility that can backup and restore a large HFS 
partition. This is the reason I think HFS should be used only for a 
nonimportant partition. I also think this could be a good project for the 
guys at GS+ but it maybe impoosible to implement.
I also find that by partitioning my HD I can BU fater when I know I have 
made no changes to certain partitions.
