I've been using UL as launcher on a IIgs Rom 1 and I only occasionaly
open UW. I've a 20 Meg Hd(id 6) chained to a 40 Meg Hd(id 4) using
RamFast v3.01e. The 20 Meg Hd is the boot drive and it's terminated.
This drive has been trouble free since I started it up last July.

I added the 40 meg in October and I have had continuous trouble with
it. I can't keep the files or the partitions. A common error is a
directory error. The failures are sporatic and unpredictable. The
most common errors detected by Prosel are 'block in use' errors. But
partition and file names are changed sometimes. I've been blaming the
HD but yesterday a disk in my BlueDisk drive was trashed the same
way. Then I read your comment and lights went on. Then they dimmed a
bit when Eric Kleoppel reported that hadn't had problems.

I missed the posting which prompted your comment. Could you elaborate
on the problems you encountered or are aware of?
