GS <-> Mac network

Is it possible to boot a GS off a Mac running system 7.1 filesharing?  I
don't have a case for my old 40 meg HD, nor do I have a SCSI card for the
GS.  Thus, I'd like to store the system files on the Mac's 500 meg HD, and
just boot over the network.  I can't just use a network disk, because it
won't load any of the system extensions.  Please help!
