Um, does AppleShare just use plain old HFS and store permission
in a "desktop" file? The docs make AppleShare (is that AFS or APS
or something?) sound like its own file system.
(Hm, no, AFS is andrew file system, APS sells hard drives, but
there are _some_ initials...)
