Lessee... The ROM 0 will not run most any GS specific software. It needs
an upgrade to a ROM 01, which you might be able to convince your local
Apple dealer to give you, if you know the secret passwords. (If anyone
_does_ know how to convince an authorized dealer, let me know!)  More
realistically, you'll have to contact an Apple II parts place, like
Shreve Systems, Alltech, or a whole bunch of others I don't remember.
(I'm sure someone will follow up with phone numbers...)

ROM 02? Never was a thing. With all the confusion there was with ROM 0
being the first ROM, ROM 01 being the second ROM (sometimes even being
called "ROM 2") Apple decided to make the third ROM ROM 03.

Only if he upgrades to ROM 01. ROM 00 can use nothing above System 1.1
or something like that.
