A lot depends on which laser printer you are talking about.  Some toner
cartridges are easier to recharge than others.  Another problem you have
to deal with is that some cartridges do not only need new toner, they need
the old toner removed.  The cartridges have a waste toner reservoir that
will get full if you recharge the cartridge without emptying the waste
toner area.

so...which toner cartridge do you use?  Don Lancaster sells books dealing
with recharging amont other neat Apple // stuff.  His original books dealt
with SX and CX toner cartridges since that was all that was used at the
time in the Apple printers of the day.  Back then, there were only a
couple of different canon engines in use by Apple and HP.
