You should not have any problems with this cable not working with other 
terminal programs as far as I know. I use it my self when I run megaterm 
and it works nicely. I have not stried it with snowterm nor colorterm. I 
know colorterm is freeware and if you like I can check it out. just post 
the program to the binaries or let me know where I can find it and I can 
test it out for ya with my 28.8 :)
