| Same here, I didn't know the ARM was "derived" from the 6502. :) I'd be
| interested to take a look at the instruction set for the ARM, if you
| could post it up.
|
| I guess a 32-bit Apple II-like machine could possibly be built from the
| ARM, but IIgs compatibility would be difficult to achieve. Also, there
| need to be a company to finance the project.....$$$$$ talks. :)

#define BIFF
UHMM COULDNT YOU JUST HOOK 2 GSS TOGETHER THEY EACH HAVE 16 BITS SO 16
+ 16 EQUALS 32 OKAY BYE
#define normal
seriously, folks? i've heard rumours (and little more) of the 65832.
okay, it's not likely to get built. however.... if we find some chip
(like perhaps the P21?) that can do amazing things, why not code an
emulator onto it? a P21 i believe is 16bit (i'm not sure, never
bothered to get a spec because i didn't think i'd need to), but it's so
wicked fast that a 32 bit emulator on it wouldn't be many problems.
ultra-risc... i believe 16 instructions.
