Slip & PPP

Hej,
	Ok...So what is the scoop on the slip/ppp access for the GS?
Does anybody know who is working on this?  As a related issue could 
somebody email me to explain why we need this to view graphics/sounds, 
etc.  Anyway just wondering if any progress was being made.
