Help: Comm Progs crash after buffer reached...

Lately, every time that I try to download a file, the comm program
will abort transfer after reaching it's internal buffer limit (ie 16k
for AnsiTerm and Spectrum, 32k in Proterm3.1). I recently reinstalled
my Datalink 2400, and have not been able to overcome this yet... any clues?

slot5 : nada
slot6 : AudioAnimator
slot7 : RamFast v3.0j
