I believe that Multiscribe works on both a IIe and the IIc. I actually
have a early version of MultiScribe (1.0) and it works on the IIe, though
it crashes occasionally due to the software, not the hardware. I
recently, acquired Beaglewrite which is simply Multiscribe under a
different name, and published by Beagle Bros. and distributed by Quality
Computers and it works fine. You didn't mention the specifics about your
IIe, but two things come to mind. You need 128K and also you need double
hi-res capability. THe 128k shouldn't be the problem, so I think maybe
if you have a Apple Extended 80-column card, you need to put a a jumper
between two pins on the card, so that any programs requiring double
hi-res, can be used. Hope this helps!
