Uh, pay attention n' stuff. Apple never offered more than the Modem 1200
and Personal Modem, which also ran at 1200, for use with II's. The fastest
Apple modem I ever heard of was a 9600 Mac fax modem which I expect never sold 
worth a hoot. That is until internal powerbook modems came out. I think that 
was what the original poster was asking since I'll give him credit for knowing
that non Apple modems work with II's dandily.
