Yup.  If there's one thing that we have a lot of here at UAF... it's 
used monochrome monitors.  Just last semester we (school of engineering)
sent several palatte loads of monitors (yes, they worked) down to the 
salvage yard.  This semester we're cleaning out all of the old, unwanted
8088 & 8086 PCs.  It amuses me quite a bit to see how these computers, 
which in many cases are newer than my //gs, are considered as worthless 
while my gs just keeps going and going and going :-)
