Apple CDSC Drive ???'s

I'm overjoyed to have just figured out how to hook this second
hand Apple CDSC up to my GS. Have a few questions though...

1. Is there any way to hook up the audio output port on the back
to go through the GS / Stereo Card (I have a SuperSonic MDIdeas)
or am I stuck with the headphone jack? Yes, I'm too cheap to
buy a real stereo so I'm playing CDs on my GS.

2. Anybody know where I can get an external enclosure for the
CDSC? Part of the reason I got it so cheap was that it was an
internal unit only. Though it works fine, the tangle of cables
on my desktop is somewhat annoying. The fact that the eject
button, headphone jack, and volume control are mounted so far
below the actual drive would seem to indicate that it would
require a specialized housing...
