Spectrum 2.0 Z-Modem Patch

 ==============================================
 SPECTRUM PATCH TO FIX A ZMODEM RECEIVE PROBLEM
 ==============================================

 Recently we've received reports of three separate systems
 where receiving a Zmodem file just produced endless
 CRC/Checksum errors, then the transfer would finally abort.

 Ewen investigated and found the problem: The Zmodem specs say
 that certain control codes must be "prefixed" by an escape code
 when sending a Zmodem file, and that the receiving end should
 strip certain control codes if they are UNprefixed.

 The endless CRC problem was occurring for two reasons: First
 and foremost, the sending systems were not prefixing the ^P
 characters as they should have been. Secondly, Spectrum was
 stripping "raw" ^S and ^P characters from the data stream,
 when it should have been stripping ^S and ^Q (not ^P).

 We obviously cannot fix the remote systems to prefix their ^Ps,
 but we CAN fix Spectrum's minor problem (which has existed
 since Spectrum v1.0). :)

 The patch program below fixes Spectrum v2.0 to strip raw ^Q
 characters, instead of ^P characters. Most people do not need
 this patch, but it won't hurt to install it anyway.

 1) UN-Binscii the following data.
    (A normal "SP.PatchZR.BXY" archive has also
     been uploaded to the A2 software library.)
 2) Unpack the resulting "SP.PatchZR.SHK" archive.
 3) Put "Patch.ZReceive" into the SAME FOLDER AS SPECTRUM v2.0.
 4) Make sure Spectrum v2.0 is named "Spectrum".
 5) Double-click "Patch.ZReceive" and it'll do its thing.
 6) After you are told the patch was applied, press the Spacebar.
 7) Optionally, delete the "Patch.ZReceive" application.
