Well, a few of us in Brisbane are running our GSes with 14.4k
modems. Most of us are running ProTerm 3.0, and a few using Spectrum.

I always advised them with setting the port speed at 19.2k in
order to use 14,400bps. I am running ProTerm 3.0, and I patched the
PT3.BIOS's driver to accept connections at 14,400 bps. Since then, I
have no problems with connecting at 14.4k. File transfers have no problems
either (except my Z-modem cannot send properly).

I know that 14.4k drivers are on ProTerm 3.1, but I din bother to
upgrade anyway...
