No, it is probably just an abbreviation for "ProDOS for the Apple II",
though I've never heard of any other "Prodos".

Could be - unless there is a newer version of the "Works to Works"
translator, the one I know of can only handle files in the original
format (used by AppleWorks 2.1 and earlier, and by newer versions if
you don't use any new features).

I think ClarisWorks has an XTND translator that can read AppleWorks
3.0 files, if not newer versions.
