Repairs for a TransWarp GS?

I recently (ok, yesterday) acquired an AE TransWarp GS. It looks fine, barring
a bit of electrical tape wrapped over a crystal. That is, I can't see any
damaged traces or obviously burnt-out chips.

However, it appears to be dead. Turning the machine on with it installed
results in the green led on top of the board lighting, but not much else.

I definitely lack the knowledge required to test this thing out, and besides,
I can't solder surface-mount components worth a damn. Does anyone know where
I can get this repaired, if anywhere?

And on a side note, if the guy who sold me the stuff can't find them, does
anyone know where I can get the manuals for an AE SoundBlaster? I'm currently
using an MDIdeas SuperSonic card, but the AE promises stereo digitizing, if
I can figure the thing out...

Thanks much,

-Josh (who finally has a HD for his GS!)
