Randy, I am about to do the same thing you have described here, but I am
not sure about one thing.

I have the 3.5 drive card, and I'll have the 1.44 drive mechanism, with
the external case and cord.  Do I used the same logic board that is in
my 800k 3.5 drive, or is there a 1.44mb logic board?
