I use Proterm, and I have proterm configured to only show reverse video in
inverse, and leave all other styles (ie. bold) in normal text.  I also have
LYNX configured to put numbers such as [3] in front of all links, so I know
which things are links and which aren't.  (This way, if I know the number of a
link, it provides a handy shortcut to having to manually select it. :)
