Our user group also picked NovaLink Professional (from ResNova) over
First Class.  The main reason was the price - NovaLink was
substantially cheaper (there was a cheap option for First Class, but
it had access requirements which weren't acceptable to us).  We also
had great difficultly getting a demo version out of the First Class
people, whereas ResNova where very helpful.

The NovaLink text interface is adequate, but its message threading
leaves something to be desired.  Most sysop functions are available
remotely via the text interface (I'm one of the two sysops).

The graphical user interface (NovaTerm) has kept our Mac users happy.

We're looking forward to the new version (4.0) being available (any day
now, we hope) so we can at least find out what has been improved.
