I agree with Randy's remark.  1985 is way to early for 1.44M drives on
an Apple II.  That would have been the UniDisk controller card for the
IIe.

If you _ever_ get the chance to use a SuperDrive on an Apple II, I'd
suggest that you stick to formatting ProDOS disks in the 800K format
unless the drive is _only_ for your personal use.  Formatting 3.5
disks for ProDOS at the higher density will make them incompatible
with just about everyone else's system.
