I've answered almost every newbie's "stupid question" that's joined irc.
Aren't we ordinary people? :)  Please feel free to join and say hello
and ask a question or two.

Because scripts like PhoEniX have backdoors which could jeopardize the
security of the channel or the users account.  I used to run PhoEniX
and really liked it, but then #appleiigs "pushed" me to write my own
script.  It's the most fun thing I've ever written, and I've learned
a lot about the ircII scripting language etc. in the process.

I think #appleiigs is worth paying for.  I have, calling long-distance
when on vaccation, etc.  Just 'cause we stray from topic sometimes
doesn't mean we don't change it. :)
