That's the attitude to have, maybe you should buy a Commodore too, then
you can be bitter towards them, or maybe a TI 99/4A then you can be bitter
towards them.  Or maybe you should just buy a DOS machine and put up with
the IRQ, DMA, TSR conflicts, and make Bill (ills me just to say the name)
Gates richer.

Me I prefer my Mac, I bought a scanner, plugged it in, ran installer, and
scanned an image in less than 10 minutes (impossible on a DOS machine).  I
have a Syquest 44M, TEAC 600M TBU, CD-ROM drive, Color Printer (SCSI), and
now a scanner on my SCSI bus (not including the 540M internal HD at ID 0)
and all I had to do was plug it all in and GO!!!

You evidently have already bought an Apple product (your IIgs) and you
seem to be happy with it.

Apple didn't screw the II users, Apple evolved (everything does).  You
prabably still ride a horse to work because you feel the auto industry
screwed the ranchers of America.  GROW UP!!!

I spent $3000 on Apple II equipment, and have probably spent twice that
much on Macintosh equipment, I even owned a TI, Sinclair (spend $200 for a
16K memory module on that one).  You need to wake up and smell the
microchips, Apple has the most impressive microprocessor on the market at
this time and is looking even farther into the future.

Oh, and one more thing.  Today Apple announced to their technical
(service) people that they will no longer be supporting the Color Plotter,
or Scribe, or Dot Matrix printer, or Lisa 1 & 2, or the Mac XL, or the
Hard Disk 20.  I sure hope you didn't have any of this equipment as I'd
hate to see another postal worker incedent.
