The pins A0, A1, and A2 are used to set the SCSI ID address. You add
the values of these pins when they are closed (jumpered) and this gives
you your SCSI ID.

		Value

A0		1
A1		2
A2		4

So, if A0 and A2 are jumpered this would give a SCSI ID of 5. If all
are left open then this would be a SCSI ID of 0.

I don't remember what the SS, EP, and WS are for. I wouldn't think it
would be wise to try to operate your drive with the socketed chip
removed.
