: AceWriter was a product of the Franklin Computer Co. for their
: ACE1000 computer. The ACE1000/1100/1200 were clones of the Apple
: Two-plus and AceWriter bore a strong resemblance to AppleWriter.

AceWriter was a product carried by franklin, but it was produced by a
third party vendor whose name escapes me. There was a small company out
of Dayton Ohio called software solutions. He had a bunch of copies of
that program as well as the companions ACE Calc and ACE File. These were
later included in the Magic Office package that the vendor produced. The
company did go under finally about 5 years ago. Even so, Software
Solutions may still have it. Not to be confused with Shareware Solutions
here in California.
