Got to pick one up used. There is an alternative, though:

Get a BlueDisk and a PC-style floppy. Cool as f*ck. Costs less than the
above combination, as well. Of course, it will only let you read/write
MFM, not GCR, so you will still need your Apple drive for the 800k stuff.
1.44 and 1.6MB floppies are fully interchangeable with DOS and Mac, though,
so no problems there (the 2.88MB floppies are only interchangeable with
DOS, Mac doesn't know about ED ;-).

To find out more, mail jlange@tasha.muc.de and ask for an info file
on the BlueDisk.
