Your forgetting the IIgs's stock SHR video modes (320/640x200)
cannot sync with a VGA/SVGA monitor either. This is why they're emulated
and then shadowed (in 640x400) using the Second Sight card. It should be
possible to do the same with PCT CGA modes, although I see little or no
point. Why? The only reason I'd want PCT video is for it's true color
ANSI text, but the Second Sight's OAK chipset already offers this.
