        If you are going to give out information at least try to be somewhere
near the truth. This sounds more like *.*.Baily than anything else.
 
        The facts at least when I got one are the cost was $30, I don't
remember if that included shipping and the max speed is 230,400 baud. It is
the turbo ASB and is a small add on circuit board which replaces the 6551
chip with another 6551 plus oscillater and swithing to vary the clock speed
from .5 to 2 times the orriginal clock speed.
 
        I found I could do much the same without the ease of being able to
change the speed with a switch achieve much the same by changing the crystal
with one of exactly twice the frequency of the orriginal. These are cheap and
available from Digikey. It is an easy way to double the max speed from 19,200
to 38,400 without changing anything else. When you set PT to 9600 you get
19,200 etc. Same goes for the baud setting in hardware.
