Decompression of .dsk files

Based on a net post about someone uploading their entire
"eamon" files, I FTP'd to the specified site and downloaded a
HUGE tar file. Extracting that left me with 120 or so files,
most of which had a suffix of ".gz," which meant that I had
to find the GNU program gzip to unpack these files. Once I
had done this I was left with 120+ files with a .dsk suffix
and a size of 143,360 which looks to me as a disk image of a
5.25" disk (DOS 3,3).
 
My problem now is, "How the heck do I get these files written
to a 5.25" disk?"
