Spectrum beeping

I'm still having a problem in Spectrum 2.0 that I didn't have in 1.0.  I 
want the system beep to be the "SimpleBeep" sample, not the standard GS 
boink.  No matter what options I select, it won't beep the right way.  
Can anybody help me?  Thanks!
