I have always had the RamFAST supplying termination power. However, as
I speculated in a further post, it may not have been enough. The Viper
150 also is capable of supplying termination power and it is now configured
to do so.

I won't know what effect it'll have on the RamFAST until Friday, but having
the drive supply termination power was the only way I could get my Amiga
to run when the drive and terminator were installed.

I've done more testing with the drive. This time on my brother's '486 box
with Adaptec AHA 1540B using GTAK/GTAR v2.43 under OS/2 Warp. It's got a
few quirks, but it writes and reads the tape with no problems.

I also tested it on a friend's Amiga 2000 with A2026 '020 board, A2091 SCSI
(scsi.device), and OS 2.1 using the BTN tape handler and, like with OS/2 Warp,
it has a few quirks, but writes and reads just fine. I have a tape full of
files from this machine, written with the same software I've been using on
my A500, so now I can test read-back capability at least.

Thanks for the input.
