If you can get at the WWW, take a look at the FAQ, which can be reached
from my Apple II Resources page:

If you only have ftp, ftp to rtfm.mit.edu, and take a look in
pub/usenet/comp.sys.apple2
As to your questions, there are 2 main ftp sites
ftp.cco.caltech.edu, pub/apple2
grind.isca.uiowa.edu
There's only about one source for C compilers and reference manuals,
The Byte Works. Sorry, no address offhand.
