Re: Is it too hard to program for the Apple?

For my part I WILL be starting out as a new programmer on the Apple
II. Back in the day, when I first got my Apple II+ (1981) I thought
about learning to program it. I had started out with a Trash 80 and
had played around a little with basic. Switching to the Apple II+ I
toyed with the idea of learning to program it, and later my //e, //e
and eventually GS. I never did simply because I was able to find
programs, games and such, that I liked.

Having gotten back into the Apple II in 06, after toasting my GS back
int about 03 and tossing it and all my II stuff out, I'm again toying
with the idea of learning to program it. Not because I think I can
write THE NEXT GREAT THING but simply to see what I can do. I may
never release what I write for anyone else to do anything with but as
long as I'm happy with what I do that will be all that matters. So, is
it too hard to program for the Apple, I don't know yet but I''l be
sure to let you know my opinion down the road.
