Error $2F is 'Device off line or no media present.' Either your HD
is deciding not to talk to the system very early on in boot or
something else. If it's not a hardware problem, it's probably a
corruption in the 'PRODOS' file, not the 'Start.GSOS' file. I'd
recommend booting off a 3.5" disk, using something like ProSEL-16 to
verify that the HD is intact and in good shape, then installing GS/OS
again. (Preferably with the installer or something else, maybe even
deleting files like PRODOS, and the GS/OS files in the SYSTEM
directory)
