Spectrum 2.0 questions

Ok, I'm having trouble writing a script in Spectrum 2.0.  How can I load 
up a 640 mode graphics screen onto the Spectrum SHR desktop?  I want to 
use this picture as a backdrop for the script.  Also...

- What scripts are required for spectrum to run properly?  There are a 
  lot of new ones that didn't come with descriptions.

- How can I get text files to load in editor in plain, not bold text?
 
- How can I get my "SimpleBeep" sound to be the active system beep sound, 
  like in v1.0? (instead of the standard GS "boink")

- Is anyone else experiencing crashing to the monitor in vt100?  I don't 
  know if it's vt100, or Spectrum itself, and why it's doing it.  I can't 
  narrow it down.  (I still have to try shift booting)
