Thank-you for your help with my smarttport problem...I have tried both
the 3.5" and 5.25" drives seperately, and here is what happens..the
5.25" still boots, and works fine if it is the only one hooked up to the
smartport, however, if it is in a chain, from the 3.5" drives, it just
spins for ever and ever.... I've had this problem for a while, and every
now and then, the drives decide to work for a bit.  The 3.5" drives
still eject disks, and I can see the light go on occasionally, however,
if I try booting for them, it just says "I/O error" without ever trying
to access the drive..
I have a superdrive 3.5" drive from apple I have been using as a regualr
3.5", could I possibly buy a FDHD card, and us that to replace my
smartport with my other regualr 3.5" drive and my 5.25"?
