You can get 80x25 text on an apple II, and with a decent 'text IDE/
editor', you productivity should be pretty darn good.... borland turbo
pascal and c++ had a fabulous IDE that ran in 80x25 for YEARS.
My biggest problem is that tools like orca/c, which imho is the only
REALLY viable high-level language for IIe/IIgs development isn't
available for 'hobbyist' prices. I am looking at sinking $150+ dollars
into the suite, which is more than my budget (or wife) allows.
