Actually, Apple dumped it before it dumped the IIs. It was
supposed to come out along with System 6.0, the Golden Master. That's
why 6.0 was delayed for a number of months.

Seeing that there's so much interest in this card, one wonders
if one of the remaining companies in the Apple II market would look
into either getting the card design from Apple Comp, or doing their
own... I'd definitely get one at $150 to $200. In fact, I'll
probably get it before I get a video card or some such for my GS.
(but then, of course, I have a couple of comps in my room, and
networking is more important for me... 4 to 5 Gigs worth of HD in my
room... hehehehehehe)
