The original version 1.0 of Fantanvision GS is not ROM 3
compatible, although there was an update produced that was hardrive
installable and I presume ROM 3 compatible as well (this update was
written around 1992-93). If someone knows how to get a free update
from Broderbund, I'd like to know about it.

In the meantime you can _partly_ run the original version 1.0
on your ROM 3. Launch it with the latest version of ProDOS 8 (v2.03)
and it will no longer lockup at the title-screen. However, mouse movement
within the program erase the screen, so it's more or less useless other
than for viewing movies. FYI: Updating the version of ProDOS 8 on
Broderbund's Print Shop GS also allows it to run on a ROM 3.

I started to compile such a list years ago, but I can't seem
to locate it at moment. As I recall, it was mostly a handful of old
games and demos, most of which were patched in later years. Speaking
of patching things, I hope "Beatbox" is made to be more ROM 3
friendly.. :)
