Help on FPU's

I am thinking of purchasing a floating point processor for my GS.  I have been
reading the information posted the last couple of days, and still do not fully
understand how much speed difference I will get.

How much faster will Symbolix (1.8) run using either NC or FPE?  Which is
faster?  Which is cheaper?  Which is better?  How much faster will my GS 
generate a fractal for example, and useful things like that.  Also can GNO
use the NC with a patch or something?  I am currently running a 10MHz system,
and would like to know whether things will go much faster with the FPU.

Any other information would be much appreciated, and can be posted, or mailed
to me.
