If the //e's not enhanced, you have to do PR# to boot from anything other than
a 5.25. The enhanced //e and IIgs recognize 3.5's, RAM cards, and hard disks
as bootable devices when doing the slot scan but older II's don't. I'm guessing
you're using an unenhanced //e.
