His name was Andy Wells, and he independedntly produced the Online Enhancer,
( I got it, right before AOL decided to dmp the apple II)

It was a good piece of work, although it didn't give you any better
graphics. It made navigating easier, and gave you online sounds.
AOL still has an Apple II section, but it's kind of lonely, and
of course you can't get to it with an Apple II. (Not much
point to that if you ask me) Try GEnie if you want great AppleII
support!
