I believe Clarisworks will read (but not write) AWGS files directly. 
If you have System 7.5 on your mac or 7.1 and the prodos extension,
you can just pop your GSOS disk into your mac.  Or you can save 
you AWGS file on a mac disk on your GS. 

There is a program called MACLink PLUS which will transfer files in 
both directions.   It will incidently, also translate hundreds of IBM 
filetypes to and from you mac.
