Hi you should not have any problems with the amperage.:) 
Just check that the right voltage is on the right place BEFORE you  
connect it to the motherboard.Othervise you will frie the motherboard.zzapp.

The higher amperage the better is it.And it will be enough power to connect 
the GS,HD,CD,etc.
The amperage just tell you how much equipment you can connect.
