Wow, Dave, I _think_ you're wrong.
I was browsing Beneath Apple Prodos and the Prodos 8 Tech Ref
recently, trying to prune my traveling library, and I recall
seeing that ProDOS 8 and SOS share many of the same
calls, at the 'binary' level. I'd have to double check though.
I think there were a few significant differences, like something
about being able to do a GetEOF on a closed SOS file but having to open
a file in ProDOS 8 to do that. Anyway...
