Try ftp.io.org. Most PC MODs would have stereo panning.

No it doesn't impact the playback speed. Logarithmic volume scaling
makes the lower volume ranges sound louder (which does make fading
sound much different and introduces a bunch of new background 'noises'
(if you wanna call it that) you would otherwise have not heard iwth
linear scaling. Take "MOD.Klisje Paa Klisje" for example. Notice the
extra beat? Quite a few MODs actually do sound better though. Have fun!
